Cayos Cochinos Marine National Park it is located 50 minutes off the coast of La Ceiba.
The cays of coralline origin have white sand and turquoise sea, this Caribbean paradise is the only place in the world where the pink boa is an endemic species, be amazed to find them on the trees and trail of the small hike we do.
In Cayo Chachahuate is a Garifuna community incomparable, with a population of approximately 150 people in this friendly ethnic group.
Here you can savior their delicious cuisine, try local dishes such as: "Machuca", fried fish with sliced bananas, lobster in season, etc.

Our Tour of Cayos Cochinos:
We exit from La Ceiba at 7am.
7:45 am from Sambo Creek.
We take a motorboat for 40 mins until we arrive in front of the 13 cays of white sandy beach that are of coralline origin, the Cayo Mayor and Cayo Menor are of volcanic origin. Passing by most of the cays, we make many strategic stops to do snorkeling which we include the equipment.
We also do a short hike in a trail within Cayo Mayor searching to be able to glimpse the pink boa as well as other flora and fauna.
Then we continue our trip by visiting Cayo Chachahute Garifuna Community here we have the choice of local typical cuisine (not included).

Coastline Tour

We take a motorboat ride for 1 ½ hrs distance to get to Roatan until reaching both West End and West Bay areas (snorkeling included).
